Monitoring
We implemented an intermediate fix in the Conceal Installer that works around the issue. Please install/update using Conceal Browse Installer version 1.2.6 or greater to resolve this issue. We will continue to monitor until Google has release a fix for this issue.

Investigating
We have discovered an issue with the most recent release of Chrome on Windows

Chrome version: 128.0.6613.120 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Operating System: Windows 10.0.19045 (Build 19045)

Where Chrome fails to close the Windows communication channel between the ConcealBrowse extension and the Conceal Helper agent. This may cause the Conceal Helper agent to continue running as a "orphan process" instead of exiting which can lead to excessive resource consumption and impact the performance of the endpoint. We have a temporary fix in our MSI installer v1.2.6 which is currently available as a generic installer. We are currently in the process of regenerating custom installers to v1.2.6, but if one is needed immediately, please contact support@conceal.io and we will generate one manually. Our recommendation is to rerun MSI v1.2.6 on any impacted systems to update the Conceal Helper agent to the latest version.

We have submitted the bug to Chrome https://issues.chromium.org/issues/365046214. Once we have a resolution from Chrome, then we will provide updated guidance to customers via support.conceal.io.
